A Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification equips learners with the confidence and skills to respond effectively in emergency situations. You will understand the key roles and responsibilities of a First Aider, know how to check and use a First Aid Kit safely, and learn how to assess an emergency scene to prioritise actions. Training includes performing CPR, safely using an AED, helping someone who is choking, and responding to seizures. You will also learn how to recognise and treat serious conditions such as heart problems and strokes, control severe bleeding, manage shock or internal bleeding, and provide treatment for burns and a range of minor injuries including cuts, grazes, splinters and scalds.
