Level 3 Award – First Aid at Work
This Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification provides the essential skills and knowledge required of workplace first aiders in high-risk settings. Covering incident management, CPR, defibrillation, injuries, illnesses, and lifesaving interventions, this accredited course meets UK HSE and Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 requirements.
All courses can be delivered on site at our training hub in Scarborough or at the customers location if required (Please phone to discuss options for external delivery).
All our trainers are Nuco Training qualified.
Course Details
Our 3-Day First Aid at Work course is designed for those who need comprehensive first aid skills to respond confidently in higher-risk workplaces such as construction sites, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, large offices, schools, and hospitality settings. Building on the 1-Day Emergency First Aid course, this program provides in-depth practical training and a broader understanding of workplace medical emergencies.

Roles and responsibilities of a First Aider. Assessing and managing emergency situations safely. Performing Primary (DR ABC) and Secondary Surveys. Administering CPR and using an AED safely. Placing and monitoring a casualty in the Recovery Position. Recognising and treating choking, seizures, heart attacks, strokes, and respiratory emergencies. Managing wounds, bleeding, shock, burns, and scalds. Using tourniquets, wound packing, and advanced bandaging techniques. Applying first aid in realistic scenario based practice
