The challenge
St Leonard’s Hospice in York supports people with life-limiting or terminal illnesses. Its colleagues needed practical Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training in Learning Disability and Autism, so they could communicate well, recognise each person’s individual needs and make reasonable adjustments across the hospice’s care settings.
The solution
Our Scarborough team delivered the training at the hospice, alongside two experts with lived experience. We worked closely with the hospice to find practical solutions and to deliver the sessions in a way that suited its teams.
