The Paediatric First Aid course is specifically designed for anyone working with or caring for children and young people. This 2-day course teaches the essential knowledge and skills needed to provide First Aid to babies, children, and young people up to 18 years old.
The training covers paediatric-specific emergency scenarios and conditions that differ from adult First Aid, such as child CPR techniques, choking in children, and managing injuries in a paediatric context. This qualification is essential for nursery staff, teachers, childminders, and anyone responsible for children's wellbeing.
Upon completion, you will receive a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid, valid for 3 years. All courses are delivered by Nuco Training qualified trainers with experience in paediatric care.
